The Center for Architecture and an expert jury will select up to three residents to address the ways architecture and design in New York City shape the experience of residential and domestic life. The selected residents will showcase their work in an exhibition in November 2023. This call is open to individuals and organizations who challenge the status quo of NYC’s cultural landscape with a lens of racial and social justice.

 

Individuals and organizations are invited to apply. Applicants must be 18 years or older to participate in CFA Lab.

 

Submission deadline: May 19, 2023

Finalist interviews: Week of  June 12, 2023

Finalist materials due to curators: August 2023

Exhibition opening: November 16, 2023

Exhibition closes: March 30, 2024
