Goram Homes and Bristol Housing Festival have launched a new design competition for the Portwall Lane Car Park situated to the north of St Mary Redcliffe Church – a masterpiece of gothic architecture and Grade I listed building.
Goram Homes and the Redcliffe Neighbourhood Forum are looking for inspiring and inclusive proposals for a mixed-use, residential led scheme on this site but are also open to exciting ideas about the surrounding area, which would consider a re-imagined vision for Redcliffe Way as a whole.
They also have an ambition for this site to be an exemplar of sustainability and biodiversity while helping the city to meet its housing needs, including the requirement for minimum 40% affordable housing.
