The jury of the 23rd Tile of Spain Awards for Architecture, Interior Design and Master’s Thesis Projects met at ASCER's head office. The jury was presided over by prestigious architect Rafael de la Hoz and its members were architect José González Gallegos (Aranguren+Gallegos), Jonathan Arnabat and Jordi Ayala-Bril (Arquitectura G), the editor-in-chief of the magazine Arquitectura y Diseños David Quesada, and the architect and Chairwoman of Castellón Architects' Association Susana Babiloni. || Photo: © ASCER

Der Wettbewerb um die "Tile of Spain Awards of Architecture and Interior Design" wird von ASCER, dem spanischen Verband der Keramikfliesenhersteller, organisiert und gefördert. Ziel der Preise ist es, das Bewusstsein und das Verständnis für die in Spanien hergestellten Keramikfliesen bei Architekten und Innenarchitekten zu verbessern und ihre Verwendung durch diese Berufsgruppen zu fördern.
Der Wettbewerb für diese Preise findet jährlich statt und steht Projekten und Fachleuten in Spanien und weltweit offen. In den eingereichten Projekten müssen spanische Boden- und/oder Wandfliesen in erheblichem Umfang im formalen Teil des Gebäudes verwendet werden.
Competition assignment
The competition for the Tile of Spain Awards of Architecture and Interior Design is organized and promoted by ASCER, the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers’ Association. The prizes aim to improve awareness and understanding of ceramic tiles made in Spain amongst architects and interior designers and promote their use by these professionals.
The competition for the Prizes is held annually and is open to projects and professionals in Spain and worldwide. Entries must make significant use of Spanish ceramic floor and/or wall tiles in the formal part of the building.
