Wettbewerbsaufgabe
Die Vorhaben des Unternehmens Fourth Quadrant und der Prager Universität für Chemie und Technologie (VŠCHT) in Verbindung mit den Planungen der Stadt für die Erneuerung des Victory Square und der öffentlichen Räume des Dejvice Campus werden im Rahmen des Entwicklungsprojekts 4th Quadrant berücksichtigt.

Intention von Fourth Quadrant
Fourth Quadrant ist auf der Suche nach einer innovativen, funktionalen und effizienten Lösung für die Entwicklung des 4. Quadranten, die die städtebauliche Struktur des Gebiets vervollständigt und die Pläne der Stadt zur Wiederbelebung des Victory Square und des Dejvice Campus ergänzt.

Das Unternehmen beabsichtigt, auf dem Wettbewerbsgelände ein multifunktionales Gebäude zu errichten, das im Erdgeschoss Räume für öffentliche Einrichtungen und in den oberen Etagen Wohnungen und Büros bietet. Die Entwicklung des 4. Quadranten wird somit zur Belebung des Platzes und der angrenzenden Straßen beitragen und gleichzeitig den Mangel an öffentlichen Einrichtungen, Geschäften und Dienstleistungen für die Bewohner der angrenzenden Wohngebiete sowie für die Studenten und Angestellten des Dejvice Campus beheben.

Intention der Prager Universität für Chemie und Technologie
Die VŠCHT beabsichtigt, ein Gebäude im 4. Quadranten des Victory Square zu errichten, um die historischen Gebäude der Schule auf dem Dejvice Campus zu ergänzen. Das neue Gebäude wird die Bildungs- und Verwaltungseinrichtungen der Universität beherbergen. Die Einrichtungen, die keinen direkten Zugang zu den Labors haben, werden in dem Gebäude untergebracht. Das Erdgeschoss des Gebäudes wird Räume für die öffentliche Nutzung wie einen Ballsaal, ein Restaurant und eine Mikrobrauerei bieten.

Competition assignment
The plans of the Fourth Quadrant company and the Prague University of Chemistry and Technology (VŠCHT) in combination with the City's plans for the regeneration of Victory Square and the public spaces of the Dejvice Campus will be addressed within the 4th Quadrant development project.

Fourth Quadrant's intention
Fourth Quadrant is looking for an innovative, functional and efficient solution for the 4th Quadrant development that will complete the urban structure of the area and compliment the city's plans for the revitalization of Victory Square and Dejvice Campus.

The company's intention is to construct a multifunctional development on the competition site, offering spaces for civic amenities on the ground floor, and housing and offices on the upper floors. The 4th Quadrant development will thus contribute to the revitalization of the square and the adjacent streets while solving the deficit of civic amenities, shops and services for the residents of the adjacent residential areas as well as for students and employees of the Dejvice campus.

Intention of Prague University of Chemistry and Technology
The intention of the VŠCHT is to construct a building in the 4th Quadrant of Victory Square in order complement the historic buildings of the school in the Dejvice campus. The new building will house educational and administrative facilities of the university. The institutions that operate without direct access laboratories will be accommodated in the building. The ground floor of the building will offer spaces for public use such as a ballroom, restaurant and microbrewery.
