Begrenzter Planungs- und Entwurfswettbewerb
Wettbewerbsaufgabe
Die Gemeinde Bergen c/o Stadtumweltbehörde lud Dezember 2019 zu einem begrenzten Planungs- und Entwurfswettbewerb im Rahmen des Stadtstrand-Projekts und dem neuen Lungegårdspark in Bergen ein.
Im Zusammenhang mit der Entwicklung eines neuen städtischen Abschnitts der Fyllingsdalen wird der Lungegårdsparken aufgewertet und erweitert. Am Wasser des Parks wird Bergens erster Stadtstrand gebaut. Das Wettbewerbsgebiet umfasst den Lungegårdsparken zwischen der AdO-Arena und Draugen in Møllendal, liegt zentral in der Stadt Bergen und dient als Verbindung zwischen den Bezirken Bergenshus und Årstad.
Der ehemalige Park ist weit verbreitet, sowohl als Durchgangsstraße zum Stadtzentrum als auch als Wander- und Erholungsgebiet. Der neue Park und Strand, der gerade gebaut wird, wird eine verstärkte Nutzung mit einer breiten Palette von Aktivitäten und guten Erholungsgebieten ermöglichen.
Mit diesem Wettbewerb wollte die Stadt Bergen eine Kompetenz aus einem breiten beruflichen Umfeld und eine kreative, innovative und interdisziplinäre Teamzusammensetzung erlangen.
Konkurranseoppgave
Bergen kommune v/Bymiljøetaten inviterte desember 2019 til en begrenset plan- og designkonkurranse i prosjektet Bystrand og ny Lungegårdspark i Bergen.
I forbindelse med utbygging av ny bybanestrekning til Fyllingsdalen skal Lungegårdsparken oppgraderes og utvides. På sjøsiden av parken skal Bergens første bystrand anlegges. Konkurranseområdet omfatter Lungegårdsparken mellom AdO arena og Draugen i Møllendal, ligger sentralt i Bergen by, og fungerer som et bindeledd mellom bydelene Bergenshus og Årstad.
Den tidligere parken har vært mye brukt, både som gjennomfartsåre til å fra sentrum, men også som tur- og rekreasjonsområde. Den nye parken og stranden som nå anlegges skal tilrettelegge for økt bruk, med et bredt aktivitetstilbud og gode rekreasjonsområder.
Bergen kommune ønsket med denne konkurransen å få et kompetansetilfang fra et bredt fagmiljø, og en kreativ, innovativ og tverrfaglig teamsammensetning.
