Wettbewerbsaufgabe
Auf Wunsch der Stadt Banja Luka einen kreativen und zeitgemäßen skulptural-architektonischen und multifunktionalen Gestaltungsvorschlag für das städtische Denkmal für gefallene und vermisste Soldaten zu erhalten, das in einen zeitgenössischen öffentlichen Platz als Symbol des Stolzes, des Triumphes und der Freiheit integriert ist, schreibt die Stadt Banja Luka einen INTERNATIONALEN ALLGEMEINEN ÖFFENTLICHEN WETTBEWERB FÜR DEN KONZEPTIONELLEN ENTWURF DES ZENTRALEN STADTDENKMALS FÜR DIE GEFALLENEN UND VERMISSTEN SOLDATEN DES VERTEIDIGUNGSPATRIOTISCHEN KRIEGES DER REPUBLIK SRPSKA aus.

Die Umgestaltung des Platzes durch Harmonisierung und Verbindung mit dem Denkmal und der Umgebung soll zu einem der neuen Symbole der Stadt werden, das der Identität des zentralen Stadtgebiets von Banja Luka einen modernen Anstrich verleiht.

Die am Wettbewerb teilnehmenden Verfasser sollten eine kreative und inspirierende multifunktionale künstlerisch-skulpturale und städtebauliche Intervention im öffentlichen Raum entwerfen, die in Übereinstimmung mit den modernen Bedürfnissen eines öffentlichen Raums und als Symbol des Triumphs der Freiheit und des Lebens auf der Grundlage der Verdienste der im Vaterländischen Verteidigungskrieg der Republika Srpska gefallenen und vermissten Soldaten gestaltet wird.

Das Ziel des Wettbewerbs ist es, ein außergewöhnliches und emotionales nationales Symbol zu schaffen, das in einen modern gestalteten Platz integriert wird.

Competition assignment
In the desire of Banja Luka City to obtain a creative and contemporary sculptural-architectural and multifunctional design proposal for the city memorial for fallen and missing soldiers, integrated into contemporary public square, as a symbol of pride, triumph, freedom, life and gratitude to the Defense and Patriotic War of the Republic of Srpska, City of Banja Luka announces INTERNATIONAL GENERAL PUBLIC COMPETITION FOR THE CONCEPTUAL DESIGN FOR THE CENTRAL CITY MEMORIAL TO THE FALLEN AND MISSING SOLDIERS IN THE DEFENSE PATRIOTIC WAR OF THE REPUBLIKA SRPSKA.

The transformation of the Square site through harmonization and connection with the monument and the surrounding environment should become one of the new symbols of the city, which will provide a modern breath to the identity of the central urban area of Banja Luka.

The authors participating in the competition should design a creative and inspiring multifunctional artistic sculptural and urban intervention in the public space that will be designed in accordance with modern needs of a public space and as a symbol of the triumph of freedom and life based on the merits of the soldiers killed and missing in the Defensive Patriotic War of the Republika Srpska.

The goal of the competition is to create an extraordinary and emotional national symbol, integrated into a modernly designed square.
