Die Wissenschafts- und Technologiestadt Sanya Yazhou Bay liegt im Westen von Sanya und konzentriert sich auf die südliche Vermehrungsindustrie und die Tiefseetechnologie. Mit einer tiefgreifenden Integration von Industrie, Universität und Forschung ist sie der wichtigste Wachstumspol von Sanya, um neue Arten der industriellen Transformation zu fördern, neue Impulse für die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung zu geben und einen neuen Maßstab für den Bau des Freihandelshafens von Hainan zu setzen.

Um die politischen Anforderungen des "Aufbaus einer führenden Sportnation" und die strategische Ausrichtung des "Aufbaus eines starken maritimen Landes" umzusetzen, müssen hochwertige öffentliche Dienstleistungseinrichtungen nach internationalen Standards bereitgestellt und die wachsenden Fitness- und Kulturbedürfnisse der Bevölkerung in der Region erfüllt werden. Dieses Projekt sieht den Bau eines umfassenden Kultur- und Sportzentrums auf Stadtebene in der Wissenschafts- und Technologiestadt Sanya Yazhou Bay vor.

Das Tiefseemuseum und Sportzentrum in der Wissenschafts- und Technologiestadt Sanya Yazhou Bay wird nach seiner Fertigstellung eine große öffentliche Einrichtung sein, von der eine Million Menschen im Großraum Sanya profitieren werden. Es soll ein hochwertiger öffentlicher Lebensraum werden, ein Markenzeichen der Küste, das die lokalen Besonderheiten hervorhebt, und ein Wahrzeichen der Stadt mit hohem Wiedererkennungswert. Dieser Wettbewerb verlangt von den Designern, dass sie auf den lokalen Kontext und das Klima eingehen und ein standortspezifisches und nachhaltiges Design vorschlagen.

Der Wettbewerb wird von der Stadtverwaltung der Wissenschafts- und Technologiestadt Sanya Yazhou Bay ausgerichtet, von der Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City Development and Construction Co. organisiert und von Position Architecture Co. aus Shenzhen mitveranstaltet. Competition assignment
Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City is located in the west of Sanya, which focuses on southern propagation industry and deep sea technology. With in-depth integration of Industry-University-Research, it is the key growth pole of Sanya for fostering new types of industrial transformation, initiating new momentum for economic development, and building a new benchmark for the construction of Hainan Free Trade Port.

In order to implement the policy requirements of "Building a Leading Sports Nation" and the strategic deployment of "Building a Strong Maritime Country", there is a need to provide high-quality public service facilities of international standards, and meet the growing fitness and cultural needs of the population in the area. This project plans to build a city-level comprehensive cultural and sports center in Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City.

The Deep Sea Museum and Sports Center in Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City will become a large-scale public facility benefiting a population of 1 million in the Great Sanya area after completion. It aims to become a high-quality public living place, a coastal brand image that highlights the local characteristics, and a highly recognizable city landmark. This competition requires designers to fully respond to the local context and climate, and propose a site-specific and sustainable design scheme.

This competition is hosted by Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City Administration, organized by Sanya Yazhou Bay Science and Technology City Development and Construction Co., Ltd., and co-organized by Position Architecture Co., Ltd, Shenzhen. Designers from all over the world are welcomed to participate in this competition.
