C-re-aid startet seinen ersten design+build Wettbewerb in Partnerschaft mit der Jubilant School and Orphanage in der Kilimanjaro Region.
Dieser Wettbewerb gibt Ihnen die Möglichkeit, am Entwurf und Bau eines Kindergartens für Waisenkinder im Alter von 3 bis 6 Jahren in der ländlichen Region Moshi mitzuwirken. Das Hauptziel dieses Projekts ist es, einen nachhaltigen Raum zu schaffen, in dem die Kinder ihre Bildungsreise beginnen können, indem sie sich wie zu Hause fühlen; Ein Raum zum Lernen, Entdecken und Spielen.
Competition assignment
C-re-aid is launching its first design+build competition in partnership with Jubilant School and Orphanage located in the Kilimanjaro Region.
This competition gives you the opportunity to work in the design and construction of a nursery school for orphans from 3 to 6 years old in Moshi rural. The main aim of this project is to create a sustainable space where kids can start their educational journey feeling like at home; A space to learn, discover, and play.

This competition gives you the opportunity to work in the design and construction of a nursery school for orphans from 3 to 6 years old in Moshi rural. The main aim of this project is to create a sustainable space where kids can start their educational journey feeling like at home; A space to learn, discover, and play.
Registration opens: 15th June 2020
Submission deadline: 1st October 2020
Jury project selection: 15th October - 15th November 2020
Winning projects announcement: 20th November 2020
Winner, finalist, and honorable mention
Target audience: Architects/ Students/ Designers
Location: Moshi, Tanzania
Build workshop: Summer 2021
Building technique: Compressed earth bricks
Awards:
1st prize: $1,000 or project construction trip to Tanzania and internship with C-re-aid + printed book with selected submissions* + International exhibition
2nd Prize: $500 or project construction + printed book with selected submissions + international exhibition
2 honorable mentions: printed book with selected submissions + international exhibition*
*International Exhibition
An exhibition of all the winning entries and honorable mentions will be held in Belgium and in Tanzania.
*A book with selected submissions and end of competition results will be released.
