Die Awards der Jacques Rougerie Foundation - Institut de France, werden verliehen, um Architekten, Designern, Ingenieuren und Stadtplanern eine einzigartige Gelegenheit zu bieten, innovative, mutige und wegweisende Projekte vorzuschlagen. Diese Architekturprojekte, die auf neuen Technologien, einer zukunftsweisenden Vision und interdisziplinären Kompetenzen - Wissenschaft, Soziologie, Klimatologie, Geographie, etc. basieren - sollten aktuelle und zukünftige Umweltfragen erörtern. Die Projekte müssen auch der Ethik der Nachhaltigkeit Rechnung tragen und zur Integration von Ozean und Weltraum in unsere Gesellschaften beitragen: neue Materialien, fortschrittliche Techniken und grundlegendes Wachstum in Bezug auf Konzeption und Bau, Energieeinsparung, Schutz der natürlichen Ressourcen, Recycling usw.

Dieses innovative architektonische Projekt sollte entweder im Ozean stattfinden, als Hüter unserer ökologischen und gesellschaftlichen Lebensqualität, oder im Weltraum, im Bereich der Entwicklung und der technologischen Anwendungen, die für die Zukunft unserer Zivilisation unvermeidlich sind.

Architektonische Innovation und nachhaltige Entwicklung als Antwort auf die großen Klimaveränderungen sind die Schlüsselwörter in diesem Aufruf zur Kreativität.

The awards of the Jacques Rougerie Foundation – Institut de France, are given in order to offer architects, designers, engineers, and urban planners a unique opportunity to propose innovative, audacious, and disruptive projects. Those architectural projects, based on emerging technologies, a prospective vision and interdisciplinary competences – science, sociology, climatology, geography, etc. – should elucidate current and future environmental issues. Projects must as well be mindful of the ethics of sustainability and contribute to the integration of the sea and space in our societies: new materials, advanced techniques, and fundamental growth in terms of conception and building, energy saving, protection of natural resources, recycling, etc.

This innovative architectural project ought to take place in either the ocean, guardian of our environmental and societal quality of life, or space, field of development and of technologic applications, unavoidable for the future of our civilization.

Architectural innovation and sustainable development to answer major climate changes are the key words in this call for creativity.
