Wettbewerbsaufgabe
Die Grundlage für den Wettbewerb ist, dass die Oberschulen von Heggen und Stangnes zu einer Schule zusammengelegt und in einem neuen Gebäude in der Nähe des Zentrums von Harstad untergebracht werden. Die Schule ist für 1116 Schüler und 207 Beschäftigte ausgelegt. Die Bruttofläche wird mit ca. 20 000 m2 berechnet, wobei eine Erweiterung um bis zu 10 000 m2 möglich ist. Die maximale Höhe des Gebäudes beträgt 7 Stockwerke (Umriss +38,5 m). Das Grundstück für die neue Schule befindet sich im Süden des Zentrums von Harstad, ca. 750 m Fußweg vom Byterminalen [Stadtterminal] und dem Zug im Stadtzentrum entfernt. Das Gelände ist ca. 9900 m2 groß und war Teil der Anlagen der Harstad Skipsindustri.
Der nationale Verband norwegischer Architekten [Norske arkitekters landsforbund (NAL)] schreibt diesen Planungs- und Rücktrittswettbewerb im Namen der Gemeinde Troms und der Provinz Finnmark aus, Organisationsnummer 922 420 866.
Competition assignment
The basis for the contest is that Heggen and Stangnes sixth form colleges will merge into one school and be co-located in a new building at a site near the centre of Harstad. The school is designed for 1116 pupils and 207 employees. The gross area is calculated to be approx. 20,000 m2 with a possibility for expansion of up to 10,000 m2.
