Wettbewerbsaufgabe

Competition assignment
Archstorming, in collaboration with the NGO Wallah We Can, launched an international architecture competition to design mobile schools in the West Bank, providing an urgent solution to the systematic and intentional demolition of buildings, including schools, in Palestine.

These mobile schools will ensure the continuity of education for Palestinian children, and your participation will contribute to Wallah We Can's efforts to build the winning project in Khan Al Ahmar, a Palestinian village facing a general demolition order.

The competition seeks innovative designs for mobile, flexible, and modular schools that can be easily dismantled, transported, and reassembled in the event of a demolition order. Therefore, projects must incorporate lightweight and durable materials that are easy to transport and assemble.

In addition to addressing the immediate needs in Palestine, this competition aims to serve as a replicable model for other conflict zones around the world.
