Nichtoffener internationaler Architekturwettbewerb
Wettbewerbsaufgabe
118 City Road is a landmark project site located in the heart of Melbourne. Sited on a large parcel of land in a highly dense area, the project will be a mixed-use project of over 220,000 sqm with a strong public focus. It will hold residential units, commercial offices, a hotel, an entertainment centre, technological display centres, a retail and cultural precinct and offer public green space opportunities.
Beulah International has a vision to redefine and create a new lifestyle precinct of international significance, that sets an unprecedented benchmark in being the activity hub in Melbourne.
The project shall be mixed use in nature and shall comprise of a variety programs to create a hub of integrated programmatic intensity, that offers immense public benefit to the local and wider community. At the same time, the project will behave as a landmark destination that contains programs that will attract visitors from near and far.
The vision is for the precinct to programmatically integrate into its urban context yet behave as a visual beacon that is memorable and recognisable on a global scale.
