Taktischer Urbanismus Now! Architekturwettbewerb | Für Architekten, Planer und Designer sind Städte zu Testfeldern für Lösungen geworden, die zu kurz- und langfristigen Veränderungen führen. Der Paradigmenwechsel in der gebauten Umwelt verändert die Art und Weise, wie der öffentliche Raum komplexe Herausforderungen in Bezug auf Klima, Zersiedelung, Mobilität, Wohnen und andere angeht.

Ziel dieses Wettbewerbs ist es, mit ortsspezifischen Fallstudien zu experimentieren, die als offene Laboratorien zur Erprobung neuer Ansätze für die urbane Transformation dienen können. Die Teilnehmer haben völlige Freiheit bei der Gestaltung des Programms, des Gesamtergebnisses und des Umfangs ihres Vorschlags. Ebenso werden Umfang und Komplexität der Intervention von jedem Team entsprechend den Bedürfnissen des jeweiligen Stadtviertels, Grundstücks, der Stadt oder Gemeinde festgelegt.

Tactical Urbanism NOW! ermutigt nicht nur radikal denkende Designer, sondern auch diejenigen, die ihre Kreativität auf die effektivste Weise entfalten können. Dieser Wettbewerb, bei dem Projekte von den gewöhnlichsten bis hin zu den ungewöhnlichsten Orten gesammelt werden, ist ein Beweis dafür, dass urbane Akupunktur in jedem möglichen Kontext als passend erachtet wird.

Im Einklang mit dem SDG Nr. 11 der Vereinten Nationen "Macht Städte und menschliche Siedlungen inklusiv, sicher, widerstandsfähig und nachhaltig" zeigt diese Initiative neue kreative und innovative Vorschläge, die bereit sind, eine weltweite Wirkung zu erzielen!

Tactical Urbanism Now! Architecture Competition | For architects, planners and designers, cities have turned into testing canvases for solutions that lead to both short and long-term changes. The paradigm shift in the built environment switches the narrative of how the public realm approaches complex challenges related to climate, urban sprawl, mobility, housing, among others.

The goal of this competition is to experiment with site-specific case studies that can work as open laboratories to test novel approaches on urban transformation. Participants have complete freedom to outline the program, the overall output and the extents of their proposal. Likewise, the size and complexity of the intervention will be defined by each team according to the needs of that specific neighbourhood, plot, city or community.

Tactical Urbanism NOW! does not only encourage designers of radical minds, but also those who can unleash their creativity in the most effective way. This competition, collecting projects from the most ordinary to the most unusual sites, is a proof that urban acupuncture is deemed fitting in any possible context.

In line with the United Nations SDG n° 11 “Make cities and human settlements inclusive, safe, resilient and sustainable”, this initiative pictures new creative and innovative proposals ready to make a worldwide impact!
