Wettbewerbsaufgabe
Die Koalition "Take Back the City" hat einen Wettbewerb für Architekten, Planer und Stadtplaner ausgeschrieben, bei dem sie ihre Vision für ein integratives und klimafreundliches Belfast vorstellen können.

Sind Sie Architekt, Planer oder Stadtplaner? Die Koalition "Take Back the City" lädt Sie ein, an unserem Planungswettbewerb für "The City of the Future" teilzunehmen.

Reichen Sie Ihren strategischen städtebaulichen Entwurf für eine integrative und nachhaltige Gemeinschaft auf dem 25 Hektar großen ehemaligen Mackie's-Gelände in Belfast bis zum 30. September 2022 ein. Der Gewinner erhält ein Preisgeld von 10.000 £ und die Möglichkeit, sein Konzept bis zum Masterplan weiterzuentwickeln.

Es gibt nichts, was unmöglich ist! Der Status quo ist keine Option, wenn wir auf die Herausforderungen unserer Zeit in einer Weise reagieren wollen, die Frieden, Gleichheit und Nachhaltigkeit fördert. Wir glauben, dass Belfast in eine nachhaltige Stadt verwandelt werden kann, in der jedes Kind ein Zuhause hat. Wir möchten mutige, optimistische und visuell überzeugende Beiträge sehen, die eine Vision verkörpern, die von wohnungslosen Familien und Experten in Absprache mit Interessenvertretern der Gemeinschaft und der Regierung entwickelt wurde.

Competition assignment
The Take Back the City coalition has launched a competition open to all architects, planners and urban designers to present their vision for an inclusive and climate-friendly Belfast.

Are you an architect, planner or urban design consultant? The Take Back the City coalition invites you to participate in our design competition for ‘The City of the Future.’

Submit your strategic urban design for an inclusive and sustainable community on the 25-acre former Mackie’s site in Belfast before 30th September 2022. The winning entry will receive a £10,000 prize as well as the opportunity to take their design concepts forward to masterplan stage.

There is no such things as impossible! The status quo is not an option if we are to respond to the challenges of our time in a way which promotes peace, equality and sustainability. We believe that Belfast can be transformed into a sustainable city where every child has a home. We want to see bold, optimistic and visually compelling entries, which embody the vision developed by homeless families and experts in consultation with community and government stakeholders.
