Wettbewerbsaufgabe
ASCER (der spanische Verband der Keramikfliesenhersteller) hat die neunzehnte Ausgabe seiner Tile of Spain Awards für Architektur, Innenarchitektur und Abschlussarbeiten angekündigt. Die Tile of Spain Awards sollen die Verwendung von spanischen Keramikfliesen in der Architektur sowie in Innenarchitekturprojekten (sowohl in Spanien als auch im Ausland) fördern. Die Preise haben eine solide Geschichte hinter sich und sie haben einen prestigeträchtigen Ruf unter Fachleuten aus der Welt der Architektur geschaffen.

Competition assignment
ASCER (the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers’ Association) has announced the nineteenth edition of its Tile of Spain Awards of Architecture, Interior Design and Final Degree Project. The Tile of Spain Awards are intended to promote the use of Spanish ceramic tiles in architecture as well as interior design projects (both in Spain and abroad). The Awards have a solid history behind them and they have forged a prestigious reputation among professionals from the world of architecture.

The Competition
ASCER (the Spanish Ceramic Tile Manufacturers’ Association) has announced the nineteenth edition of its Tile of Spain Awards of Architecture, Interior Design and Final Degree Project. The Tile of Spain Awards are intended to promote the use of Spanish ceramic tiles in architecture as well as interior design projects (both in Spain and abroad). The Awards have a solid history behind them and they have forged a prestigious reputation among professionals from the world of architecture.

Participants
The competition is open to any person, entity or institution, either individually or as a team. They are required to submit their work in accordance with the terms and conditions given below. Submissions may be made either at the candidate’s own initiative or at the behest of the Awards’ promoters.

Professional architects, interior designers, architectural engineers, landscape designers and decorators of all nationalities can enter the Tile of Spain Awards.

Schedule
Closing date for entries: 23rd October 2020
Jury’s final decision: week 20 November
Award ceremony: CEVISAMA 2021

Prizes
The Awards have a prize fund of 39,000 euros distributed in three categories. The two main categories are Architecture and Interior Design, each with a cash prize of 17,000 euros. The panel of judges are also entitled to give special mentions in either category. The third category is the Final Degree Project, targeting students of Architecture, and has a cash prize of 5,000 euros.
